Kishore M. Gajaria started his career in the year 1991. Kishore has extensive exposure in corporate commercial transactions, including drafting of joint ventures agreements, share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, technology transfer agreements, royalty agreements, franchise agreements, and generally advising clients on various corporate commercial issues and business laws.
He has also worked in London with Carr & Co., Advocates & Solicitors and has represented both Indian and international clients in various transactions involving British Laws as well as multinational laws.
Kishore has significant experience in Foreign Exchange Management Act (formerly FERA), Central Excise and Gold (Control) Appellate Tribunal (CEGAT), Monopolies and Restrictive Trade Practices Commission (MRTP), Competition Commission of India (CCI), Competition Appellate Tribunal, Consumer Courts and other forums. He has successfully represented clients and handled variety of complex litigation before Supreme Court of India, various High Courts and Tribunals. He is a trained Senior Mediator of International Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution, Delhi High Court.
Kishore has authored the 4th Edition of “Building and Engineering Contracts in India”, a comprehensive treatise on building and engineering contracts, with special emphasis on Arbitration Law. This book is considered to be a bible amongst legal practitioners and corporate houses involved with the construction and engineering industry. The 5th Edition of the book is under prepartion.
